C.A.T.S. ULTIMATE FRISBEE MEMBERS HELPS CAMBRIDGE WIN CBC'S "LIVE RIGHT NOW" COMPETITION AS THE MOST ACTIVE CITY IN ONTARIO! On Sunday, April 1st, 2012 C.A.T.S. and it's members supported Active Cambridge in celebrating Cambridge as the most active city in Ontario AND help support the city as it strives to become voted as the most active city in Canada. C.A.T.S. offered a free ultimate frisbee clinic and pick-up games to the public. CLICK HERE to view a short video of the day!
C.A.T.S. RAISES $1500 FOR NEW VOLLEYBALL EQUIPMENT AT WILLIAM G. DAVIS SCHOOL.
Cambridge Adult Team Sports partnered with William G. Davis Public School on Family Day to coordinate a Family Day Volleyball Tournament. All proceeds from the tournament went towards new volleyball equipment for the school. C.A.T.S. also donated proceeds from their spring intermediate volleyball league to support the school. Do take, C.A.T.S. has raised $1500 for new equipment.

FREE ULTIMATE FRISBEE H.A.T. LEAUGE & FLAG FOOTBALL PICK-UP
C.A.T.S. has partnered with Cambridge Minor Football for use of fields so that our members can prepare for our summer leagues. C.A.T.S. is an avid supporter of Cambridge Minor Football and hopes to run a fundraiser with them in May to support youth who have an interest in playing football. Free pick-up leagues will begin at the end of April and lead into the summer season. Click on the links at the side menu bar for specific league information.

On Saturday & Sunday August 27th and 28th, Cambridge Adult Team Sports participated in the Active Cambridge Physical Activity Expo 2011 at the Cambridge Centre Mall. We had many individuals who saw our web site and came out to say hello and encourage us to continue to bring adult activities to Cambridge. We specifically want to thank our volunteers: Liz Carr, Sharon Rutledge and Jamison Hyde who spent the entire day volunteering at the booth. You are awesome!

Have you thought about playing ultimate frisbee or flag football, but are hesitant because you've never played before? Cambridge Adult Team Sports invites all individual players, groups or teams to contact one of our coordinators or league volunteers! We will meet with you or your team and teach you how to play! Grand River Soccer is currently accepting soccer registrations. Many of their leagues are at a licenced facility with a patio on turf fields minutes outside of Cambridge by Conestoga College Doon Campus.
